Functional Features
1. Water-based adhesives require 24–48 hours to dry; PUR adhesives develop initial tack in 2–3 minutes and can be used directly for subsequent operations, with full curing occurring after 2.5 hours.
The rolls can be compressed directly, eliminating the need for extra storage and drying facilities.
2. PUR adhesive requires a small amount per square meter and boasts extremely high adhesion, reducing costs by roughly 5–6 times compared to water-based adhesives.

After applying the adhesive, a certain initial viscosity develops within 2–3 minutes, allowing for direct subsequent cutting and fire‑resistance liner installation. After 2.5 hours, the product can be directly compressed and rolled into packages, creating a complete production line. There is no need for additional warehousing or drying facilities. |

PUR hot melt adhesive is a moisture-curing, reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive. When heated, the hot melt adhesive reacts with moisture, giving it far superior water resistance and mold prevention compared to water-based adhesives. |
It has poor water resistance; in humid areas, the bonded joints often fail to dry over long periods, and mold may even develop. |

Apply 10–25 g of adhesive per square meter; at a rate of 30 yuan/kg, the cost of adhesive per square meter is approximately 0.3 yuan. For a 2 m × 2 m mattress, the cost of a single layer of sponge is 1.2 yuan. Daily hot melt adhesive expenses amount to 1,200 yuan. |
Apply approximately 75 g of adhesive per square meter. At a price of 25 yuan/kg, the cost of adhesive per square meter is about 1.857 yuan. It eliminates the need for dedicated warehousing space, reducing monthly overall costs by 84,000 in unnecessary storage and labor expenses. |
When daily output reaches 1,000 pieces and the bed dimensions are 2m × 2m, stacking 7 mattresses per pile requires at least 700–800 square meters of dedicated storage and material handling space for water-based adhesive‑coated foam to cure. Monthly factory rental costs are approximately 2.1 yuan, while 8 warehouse workers are needed for storage, material handling, and transportation, at a rate of 8,000 yuan per worker per month. The total monthly labor cost for storage, handling, and transportation comes to 64,000 yuan, with fixed monthly expenses totaling 85,000 yuan. |
